A Project For The Entire Community
What sets Wilber, Nebraska apart from many rural communities is its ties to traditions, family and a rich Czech heritage. That is why it is the Czech Capital of the USA and why Wilber is a unique community. It is this commitment to tradition and heritage that prompted community members to pursue placing a brewery in a community that annually draws 25,000 to 50,000 people to its annual ethnic festival, Czech Days, and has visitors from all over the United States, of both Czech and non-Czech heritage, each and every year.
A brewery once stood proud and profitable in Wilber, known far and wide as a true Czech beer with unmatched taste and quality. That same sense of commitment to taste and quality is back and Wilber is looking forward to becomming a forerunner in the craft brewing market.

Overview of a Brewery
- Craft breweries (small breweries that produce less than 15,000 barrels of beer a year) are having a resurgence in the United States with over 1,525 in the United States as of July, 2009.
- Craft breweries experienced a 5.9 percent annual increase in barrels of beer produced in 2008.
- Craft Breweries allow for the freshest beer possible to be distributed to the masses and have local ties to communities, representing a culture, heritage or region.
- The Czech Republic is world-famous for its beer-making ability and its renowned brews hace been award winners for countless years. Making a Czech beer in the Czech Capital of the United States could help bring back styles, processes and recipes of beers not seen in the United States in ages...if ever!
